Who Said Caffeine is not good for you?

I literally just recently discovered Caffeine.tv and I can honestly say at a first glance this may be YouTube’s worst nightmare. First, you have a really streamlined interface. All the interaction is in real-time. No Longer do you have to wait for notifications of your fans and as a viewer the ability to ask questions, share thoughts, and get answers immediately is awesome.

Content creators can stream when they want and pretty much what they desire from topics like drawing, gameplay, discussions or podcasts, and computer programming to name a few. Monetization is possible without the smothering new or smaller publishers with guidelines that pretty much make it difficult if not possible to get started. Viewers can gift various items to their favorite broadcasters and its all done in real time via an easy to use no-nonsense user interface.

Advertisements on Caffeine.tv ... yeah right!

Do you love to have a talk about how your life is ending soon and how much insurance is adequate? How about asking you if you like the ad and when you click no they play it 10 times more just to piss you off, sound like fun? Well, Caffeine.tv may not be for you because they have removed ads from their service. Thats right absolutely positively no ads.

According to Caffeine.tv their monetization system provides a portion of revenue generated by content streamers all while providing a nonintrusive ad platform. This seems to be a better approach than a game developer taking all of your money from the stream because its not like you are helping drive their sales or anything.
